Zusammenfassung:The cost of the HPV vaccine substantially impedes vaccination coverage in the Philippines because vaccine acceptance among Filipinos is highly dependent on affordable pricing.3 Increased government funding is essential. Additionally, cancer control strategies designed for LMICs must be explored, such as the use of a single HPV vaccine dose to increase coverage against cervical cancer in a more affordable manner.5 We call on the global oncology community to take urgent action to improve cancer medicine accessibility worldwide.
