Zusammenfassung:Alumina powders were ground by an attrition mill and the variation of mechanochemical factors with milling time was examined and compared with the results obtained by vibration ball milling. The differences observed for the two grinding methods were considered to be due to the difference in grinding energy expended on the powders. It was a matter of course that amorphisation progressed strongly as grinding energy increased. 7 refs.
