Zusammenfassung:The miscibility behaviour of poly(2-iodoethyl methacrylate) (PIEMA) with poly(styrene-coacrylonitrile) (SAN) and poly( p-ethylstyrene-co-acrylonitrile) ( pMSAN) was investigated using differential scanning calorimetry. Based on the single composition-dependent glass transition criterion and the optical clarity of the blends, PIEMA was found to be miscible with SAN having acrylonitrile (AN) contents between 13 and 51 wt%, and with pMSAN having AN contents between 21 and 42 wt%. Various segmental interaction parameters were evaluated using a binary interaction model.
