Zusammenfassung:Twinning dislocations in {1012} twin boundaries in Zn have been studied using high-resolution transmission electron microscopy (HREM) and also by atomistic modeling. Image contrast simulation has been carried out, and excellent agreement found between experimental observations and theoretical predictions. The Burgers vector of the defects was determined by circuit mapping and found to be consistent with topological theory.
