Zusammenfassung: | Metastable Fe-Cu alloys have been produced using a high energy ball mill. We have studied the magnetic properties of both mechanically alloyed Fe-Cu and the nanocomposite phase produced at intermediate ball milling times. The mechanically alloyed solid solutions have magnetic properties similar to those of Fe-Cu films prepared by vapor-quenching. Upon annealing at high temperatures, the metastable Fe-Cu alloys recrystallize and phase separate into Fe and Cu. |
