Zusammenfassung:Ferroelectric lead titanate based ceramics are obtained by a wet chemical process from an aqueous system, with an initial 1:1 stoichiometric ratio of lead to titanium. A study is made of the phases developed after the thermal treatment of the precursor material. The physico-chemical evolution of the system with temperature has a large influence on the final microstructure and ferroelectric behaviour of the resulting materials.
