Testing Materials under Multi-axial Loading

The paper reviews multi-axial testing techniques. Due to the considerable number of testing machines available for multi-axial loading the experimental equipment and therefore methods have become very varied among different investigators and laboratories. The thin-walled tube is frequently used as smooth specimen for multiaxial fatigue. Establishing common frame-works within this field is considered.
