The phonon transport in crystals with heavy defects
The problem of phonon transport in crystals with heavy defects is studied. A nontrivial behavior of the phonon diffusion coefficient near the quasilocal frequency concerned with the dwell effect is found. Two independent approaches — the diagrammatic and kinetic ones — are proposed.
