The following values of Delta H deg sub f (kJ/g atom) are reported: NdNi sub 5 , -(26.2plus/minus1.1); Nd exp 5 Ru sub 2 , -(17.2plus/minus1.9); NdRu sub 2 , -(18.8plus/minus1.2); Nd sub 5 Rh sub 4 , -(59.9plus/minus2.5); NdRh, -(64.2plus/minus2.0); NdRh sub 2 -(59.9plus/minus1.1); NdRh sub 3 -(44.4plus/minus1.6); NdPd, -(77.2plus/minus2.7); NdPd sub 3 , -(73.3plus/minus2.3); Nd sub 5 Ir sub 3 , -(59.7plus/minus2.7); NdIr sub 2 , -(67.6plus /minus1.5); NdPt, -(104.4plus/minus2.6); NdPt sub 2 , -(97.9plus /minus2.4); and NdPt sub 5 -(55.0plus/minus3.1). The results are compared with available literature data for some of the Nd alloys and with predicted values from the Miedema model. |
