Zusammenfassung:Brazewelding offers considerably greater possiblities for joining metal matrix composites. The method presented was developed at the E.O. Paton Electric Welding Institute and combines heating with passing current with compresssion of the bond zone. Brazewelding is carried out in projection welding machines using aluminium brazing alloys. The best results were obtained using brazing alloys of the Zn-Al-Cu system. [From Russian].
