Zusammenfassung: | Based on measured g-jitter data and experimental results of VIBES in IML-2 aboard the Space Shuttle, the experimental environment is discussed. To understand the effects of residual gravity on liquid flow in a container, the diffusion of colored phenolphthalein in water was measured in two cases of g-jitter levels in the Space Shuttle. It was found that diffusion was enhanced by the presence of g-jitter. These observations indicate that there is some kind of convection due to g-jitter. (Author) |
