Zusammenfassung:The hydrometeor water budget of Hurricane Norbert was assessed using the Doppler radar observed storm structure and two microphysical retrieval techniques. The wind field was used to calculate advection and for retrieving the thermodynamic and microphysical structure of the storm. Three-dimensional distributions of condensation, evaporation, and precipitation were computed. The relationship of the computed water budget to the storm dynamics and inner core structure and the role of asymmetric contributions to the water budget are evaluated. (AIAA)
