Zusammenfassung:The secondary recrystallization behavior in 2.3% Si-1.7% manganese steel containing 0.012% sol. aluminum was investigated under the conditions of slab soaking at 1150 deg C and secondary recrystallization annealing at 950 deg C. Complete secondary recrystallization and good magnetic induction, equivalent to those of regular grade for grain-oriented electrical steel, were obtained using an N sub 2 -containing atmosphere during the heating stage of secondary recrystallization annealing.
