Zusammenfassung:Attention is given to a set of scientific and technical problems which can be formulated in, for example, constructing an all-welded aircraft mainframe. The tasks in the development of welded components include: production of structures with wider functional possibilities, increase of design and technological reliability, automation of production, reduction of mass and material requirement of components, solution of the problem of specialised professions. The main criteria in solving the problem are: achieving and overtaking the world level of development of science and technology, introduction of new structural materials and improvement of available ones, applications of promising sources of energy for welding, development of combined technology (welding-casting, welding-shaping in the superplastic condition of the metal, etc.) and double application technologies, and the use of multifunctional equipment with programmed control based on numerically controlled machines.
