Zusammenfassung: | To translate a system specification into a hardware and software implementation, several translations and decisions have to be made. Task Level Behavioral VHDL focuses on the specification of an embedded system without muddling with implementation details. The specification uses tasks specifying the data processing, communication and synchronization. A specification of a task consists of a PORT, CONTEXT, DECLARATION and DATA PROCESSING section. The contex simplifies the system specification by specifying task interruption and communication protocols used on the channels between tasks. |
