Zusammenfassung: | The influence of isolated collinear cracks in every other layer of a laminate with three or more layers is analyzed. The material is homogeneous and anisotropic, but also alternate from one layer to another. Fourier transform is applied reducing the problem to singular integral equation. Stress intensity factors are obtained for different layer thickness ratio, crack length, and composite material properties. Data are cited for boron-epoxy and graphite-epoxy composites. |
