Zusammenfassung:The effects of the substitution of Cu with Fe in Bi sub 2 Sr sub 2 CaCu sub 2 O sub 8+d have been investigated using X-ray diffraction, resistivity, susceptibility (ac and dc), scanning electron microscopy, and EDAX. The variations of Fe moment, T sub c and other characteristics of the oxide with the Fe content in the range 0 < = x < = 0.09 in Bi sub 2 Sr sub 2 CaCu sub 2(1--x) Fe sub 2x O sub 8+d are thus determined. The formation of a minor impurity phase occurs when x = 0.09.
