Zusammenfassung:Materials used in the studies reported consisted of Ba2Ti9O20 with additions of 1, 2 and 3 wt % of titanium oxide. Scanning electron microscopy study showed the presence of crystal clusters in the matrix in the form of flat, uniform and randomly orientated platelets. The effect of soaking time on bulk density was also investigated. Studies of the dielectric properties with the various additions of TiO2 included the variation of dielectric constant with frequency and the effect of excess TiO2 addition on the dielectric constant measured at 1 and 10000 kHz and on the Q-factor (maximum). 3 refs.
