Zusammenfassung:	Several techniques for the preparation of glass samples for small-angle X-ray scattering (SAXS) analysis are considered. Film and powder methods could be particularly useful in the case of glasses which are difficult to grind and polish and which absorb X rays strongly. The latter two techniques are compared in an application of the SAXS analysis to a phase-separated glass.
