Zusammenfassung:Resonant enhancement of the X-ray magnetic scattering showed evidence of the antiferromagnetic coupling between the nickel layers in an Ag/Ni multilayer through the appearance at small angles of a magnetic superlattice diffraction peak. The magnetic moments are found to be oriented perpendicular to an applied magnetic field weaker than the saturation field. Moreover, a large magnetization-dependent amplitude of 2.5 electrons was observed.
