Low temperature sensors prepared by the sol-gel process

Dielectric measurements are reported on capacitance thermometers prepared by the sol-gel method. These thermometers are characterized by a broad operating temperature range, picowatt self-heating, fast response time and insensitivity to magnetic fields.
