Zusammenfassung:	The heavy fermion compound CePtSi has been studied employing neutron scattering, specific heat, magnetic susceptibility and Hall effect measurements. Only the magnetic susceptibility indicates a magnetic anomaly at low temperatures consistent with previous measurements. It is suggested that the sample dependent properties result from disorder effects.
