Low-temperature LiMn sub 2 O sub 4 spinel films for secondary lithium batteries
Reactive e-beam evaporation from bulk spinel onto metal substrates followed by in situ O sub 2 anneal at 400 degrees C provided films with an emf of 4.1 V, energy density of 500 Wh/kg, and promising life cycles.
