Zusammenfassung: | The effect of a strong magnetic field on the Josephson critical current J sub(c) is considered. It is shown that if the Abrikosov vortex in the superconducting electrodes is rigidly pinned, the J sub(c) value depends on the distribution of the vortex density and drops slowly with the increase in an external magnetic field. If the Abrikosov vortices within the electrodes are in a liquid phase there may be an exponentially rapid decrease in the magnitude of J sub(c) with increase in the transverse field. |
