Zusammenfassung: | The material had significant microcracks through the bulk, and consisted of a Bi 2-2-1-2 phase. After heat treatment in air at 860 C for 10 days, the sample transformed to microstructurally smooth grains of Bi 2-2-2-3 phase. ac magnetic susceptibility data indicated that the diamagnetic response of grains occurred at Tc = 105 K. TEM, SEM and XRD analysis revealed the microstructural change to a smooth laminar structure during the formation of the Bi 2-2-2-3 phase. 9 refs. |
