Electrodeposition of metallic films on aluminum specimen supports for characterization by scanning electron microscopy and energy-dispersive x-ray analysis

Methods of aluminum surface treatment are investigated so that alloy thin films can be easily electrodeposited onto aluminum stubs directly for physical characterization by scanning electron microscopy and elemental determination by energy-dispersive X-ray microanalysis.
