Zusammenfassung: | Under peroxide curing systems, direct adhesion between metals and unsaturated elastomers such as NBR, high saturated NBR and EPDM was successful by using nickel plating and triazine dithiols. The peel strength in the adherends was considered to be generated by the formation of binder bonds in the interface which are formed by reacting of triazine dithiols with both nickel platings and elastomers in the presence of peroxides. The peel strength was influenced by the amount and kind of triazine dithiols and peroxides, and by these addition ratio. The increase of binder bonds by controlling these factors leads to the peel strength. The peel strength related to some factors such as a type of elastomers, the degree of unsaturated groups and the reactivity of curing points. The adhesion of nickel platings was maintained for about 3 months after plating. Direct adhesion between unsaturated rubbers and nickel plated iron, stainless, permalloy and copper plates was successful when they are plated above 0.2μm. The adherends had excellent heat, oil and water resistance about NBR, high saturated NBR and EPDM. |
