The role of surface inhomogeneities in corrosion processes-electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) on different aluminium oxide films

Zusammenfassung:The role of surface inhomogeneities of different dimensions in different electrode and corrosion processes are discussed using the transfer function analysis of dynamic system analysis as a powerful in-situ measuring technique. The influences of perfect and inhomogeneous 3-D surface layers on corrosion processes are discussed in detail. Experimental approaches of the different models are given with respect to previously published papers.
