Zusammenfassung:The 2212 superconductor is prepared from Ca sub 2 CuO sub 3 , Sr sub 2 CuO sub 3 , and Bi sub 2 CuO sub 4 , and resistivity and ac susceptibility during different stages of synthesis are measured. Samples prepared from binary oxides have higher purity (single phase), higher conductivity, and higher J sub / c/ 's than those prepared from simple oxides by the same process.
