Zusammenfassung:Deprotonation of the aminofulvene 1 with LiCH(SiMe3)2 provides 2, which reacts with MCl4 (M=Zr or Hf) by intramolecular NMe2H elimination and coupling of the fulvene moieties to form complex 3 or 4.
