Zusammenfassung: | •In cross-sectional study of 116 subjects with advanced glaucoma, optic nerve head (ONH) prelaminar schisis was found in 41.38%.•ONH prelaminar schisis was associated with thin and deep lamina cribrosa, short axial length, and thick macula in advanced glaucoma.•Macular parameters showed better associations with functional parameters compared to peripapillary retinal nerve fiber layer or Bruch membrane opening–minimum rim width parameters in eyes with ONH prelaminar schisis.
