Zusammenfassung:Spot Profile Analysis Low Energy Electron Diffraction (SPA-LEED) on pseudomorphic submonolayers of Fe(110) on W(110) provides experimental access to phase shift differences between wavelets scattered from Fe top-layer terraces and from the uncovered W-surface, respectively. These phase shifts are alternatively determined within a dynamical LEED calculation and agree surprisingly well with the experimental results.
