Zusammenfassung: | A quantitative study of the processes of slow structural transformations in lead underpotential adsorbate on Ag(111) at high coverage (50–80%) has been performed. It has been found that a long-term polarization of the electrode only incorporation of the adsorbed lead atoms in the silver lattice takes place and no desorption of these atoms in the solution occurs. The reverse process of detachment of the incorporated lead atoms has been analysed at various growth step densities on the electrode surface. The factor showing the number of adsorption sites blocked for subsequent adsorption as a result of the transformation process has been estimated. |
