Zusammenfassung: | Irradiation of Ti\N(CH sub 3 ) sub 2 \ sub 4 by the 1.064 mu m line of a pulsed Nd:YAG laser in the presence of TiO sub 2 , Al sub 2 O sub 3 , or Si sub 3 N sub 4 particles has been found to form amorphous deposits on the oxide particles. The resulting materials can be processed into titanium nitride/TiO sub 2 , titanium nitride/Al sub 2 O sub 3 , or titanium nitride/Si sub 3 N sub 4 composites with the titanium nitride component on the surface of the particles. The powders have been characterized by Raman spectroscopy and X-ray powder diffraction studies. The surface analysis of the composites by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and high-resolution electron microscopy is presented. |
