Zusammenfassung: | The authors start with the description of their model of a discrete dynamic system (dds) in Section 2. This formal model implies that the semantics of a system's description are defined in a proper way. This opens the possibility of executable specification, which implies an easy way of producing prototypes that are better to use during the design phase of an information system than formal descriptions. In Section 3 they consider modeling languages for this framework and one based on predicate logic in particular. In Section 4 they present a diagramming technique, and in Section 5, they give some examples. In Section 6 they compare their diagramming technique with two other well-known techniques. |
