Modeling Failure Processes of Compound Bodies by the Numerical--Analytical Potential Method [Previously Titled: Application of the Numerical--Analytical Potential Method for Modelling Composite Material Fracture Process.]

Previously abstracted from the original as item 9005-C1-D-1224. A procedure for determining the stress--strained state of composite bodies has been developed on the basis of a numerical--analytical potential method. The interaction of reinforcing rods and mortars based on epoxy resins was investigated with allowance for friction and slip. Computer simulation of crack formation and stress distribution in contact zones of elements for various classes of reinforcing rods with an increase in external loading and development of contact cracks was carried out.
