Zusammenfassung:This work shows how ten different fuzzy implication operators, together with appropriately corresponding versions of four different rules of inference, can be represented within a formal axiomatization of the theory of approximate reasoning. The same formalization methods can also be applied to Zadeh's notion of semantic entailment, as well as to all of the familiar linguistic hedges.
