Zusammenfassung: | The influences of fiber orientation, stacking sequence, material properties and edge effects on the accumulation of damage and modes of failure in angle-ply and quasi-isotropic composite laminates are studied. Experimental results are presented for graphite-epoxy and graphite-polyimide coupons subjected to tensile load. It is shown that all the parameters studied can have a significant influence on the behavior of the composite. |
