Zusammenfassung: | The development and performance of long cycle life nickel-zinc fuel cells is reported. Test cells were fabricated with a large excess of electrolyte such that at the oxidized state, the greater part of the Zn was dissolved as zincate ions. Cells with flowing electrolyte and those with stationary electrolyte were studied. The latter type required a combination of additives in solution and pulsed current during charge to realize good cycle life. |
