Effect of sodium doping of rare-earth iron garnet films on magnetic and magnetooptic properties
Effect of incorporation into the lattice of Na from the flux during LPE growth of Bi-doped Lu-Fe garnet films is studied. Negligible effect on the Faraday rotation and magnetostatic wave passband is noted. Uniaxial anisotropy field is affected, but the effect may be removed by annealing.
