Zusammenfassung:The effect of binding additives on superconductivity is studied in Y--Ba--Cu--O ceramics. Mixtures of Y sub 2 O sub 3 , Ba(NO sub 3 ) sub 2 and CuO (1:2:3) are calcined, and sintered with 10 mol% binding additives of each component, respectively. The critical temperature and the zero field critical current density are measured. The values of T sub c of the specimens are almost the same but the values of J sub c are sensitive to the kinds of binding additives. When sintered at 1193K, J sub c of the specimen with CuO additives is 218 A/cm exp 2 , and the J sub c of the specimen with Ba(NO sub 3 ) sub 2 additives is 7 A/cm exp 2 . It has been confirmed that 10 mol% CuO should be a proper additive for increasing the J sub c value in the Y--Ba--Cu--O system. Graphs. 8 ref.--AA
