A fatigue crack has been studied for dependence of its growth rate on parameters of acoustic emission, the results being presented. An analytical model is suggested to describe relation between the fatigue crack growth rate and total amount of acoustic emission for a cycle. The formulated model and obtained experimental results on D16T Al underlie development of the method for determination of threshold values of the stress intensity coefficient swing. |
