Zusammenfassung: | A transparent borosilicate glass with 19 wt% ZrO2 was chosen to crystallise only zirconium dioxide after an appropriate thermal treatment. The crystallinity evolution, as a function of temperature and time was studied by DTA and XRD, along with mechanical properties such as hardness, Young's modulus and fracture toughness, which were determined by microindentation techniques. Moreover, crystallinity-mechanical property relationships were discussed. 23 refs. |
