Zusammenfassung: | Granular Sn was plated on steel prior to chromate treatment. The granular Sn plating was obtained by extremely low current density electrolysis or by reducing the concentration of additional Sn plate. Dispersedly plated granular Sn improved weldability in sanitary can production because of its lower electric contact resistance, and gave good corrosion resistance because of its cathodic protection action to steel in comparison with conventional Sn free steel. Suitable covering area of the dispersedly plated granular Sn on steel substrate was found to be 15-70%. Graphs, Photomicrographs. 3 ref.--AA |
