Zusammenfassung:We examine the nonlinear electrodynamics of a plasma-induced atomic transition that is subject to an intense, resonant laser field and find novel saturation and spectral characteristics. Specifically, the lineshape exhibits well-defined velocity oscillations whose spacing is set by the laser electric field amplitude and the line strength is independent of laser intensity for sufficiently strong field strengths.
