Zusammenfassung: | The successful incorporation of approx 20 at.% Ba into a copper oxide film formed on a Cu foil electrode is reported. The goal for continuing research is to form a thin film of the YBa sub 2 Cu sub 3 O sub 7--x superconductor on a Cu substrate, beginning with the trapping of yttrium and Ba in an electrochemically grown copper oxide film. Initial results presented indicate that the approach used is promising for the electrochemical synthesis of high temperature superconducting materials. 10 ref.--A.R. |
