Zusammenfassung: | In this paper a description of the project entitled Remote Sensing Loosdrecht Lakes (RSLL), recently initiated as part of the National Programme for Remote Sensing of the Netherlands, is presented. RSLL forms part of a larger multi-disciplinary working group Water Quality Research: Loosdrecht Lakes. The objectives of the project RSLL are to study and detect the temporal and spatial variations in water quality of the Loosdrecht Lakes using satellite (Thematic Mapper, SPOT) and airborne (CAESAR-MSS and low-altitude aerial colour photography) remote sensing images, analysed qualitatively and quantitatively. Ongoing and future research is discussed and initial results are presented. |
