Zusammenfassung:Structural and thermodynamic properties of the Zn-substituted YBaCu-oxides have been investigated. The thermodynamic properties have been studied in terms of oxygen point defects, related to the departure from stoichiometry. Results obtained for YBa sub 2 Cu sub 2.88 Zn sub 0.12 O sub z have been interpreted with a novel model taking into account the fact that Zn goes to Cu(1) sites. Graphs. 16 ref.--AA
