Zusammenfassung:C-reactive protein concentration was 20·1 mg/L (normal range 0–5 mg/L), and the erythrocyte sedimentation rate was 92 mm/h (normal range 0–21 mm/h). Pelvic CT scans done on her second hospital admission showed intestinal adhesions, thickening of the intestinal wall and anal tube, and pelvic lymphadenectasis.
