Zusammenfassung:We necropsied an American black bear (Ursus americanus) from central Utah, US and found several liters of cloudy fluid and multiple white nodules in the peritoneal cavity. Histopathologic examination and staining with pancytokeratin and vimentin markers identified a peritoneal mesothelioma. Mesothelioma has not been reported previously in black bears.
